Learners will be under constant supervision, as their day to day training commences. There are multiple learnerships within all sectors of the company. Transnet Learnerships Requirements
Candidates who are interested in working with Spoornet must adhere to the requirements, stipulated by the company.
Most candidates will be required to have the following:
- Candidates must be a South African citizen
- Must hold a Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
- You must be fluent in English (read, write and speak)
- Must be Computer literate
- Candidates must be goal oriented, reliable, honest and possess integrity
- All candidates must be self-motivated and a team player
- Candidates must be good in numerical reasoning
- Flexibility with a commitment to learn, but moreover willingness to work
Transnet Learnerships Application
Learnerships online applications processes are made available only when a need arises within the company. Candidates must ensure that the application form is completed in their own hand-writing, all fields are filled in and the form is signed by the applicant.
Each position for learnership will be issued a reference number. Candidates must ensure that this number is on their application. Candidates must also include certified copies, (certified within the 3 months prior to application), of their ID Document, all certificates, academic records and any other pertinent documentation.
Candidates will most likely need to register firstly with ‘Transnet Freight’ careers section, this can be done online via their site. Candidates must ensure all fields are truthfully and completely completed. Once you have registered, candidates can apply for available learnerships. Each learnership will have a reference number, this number must be used when completing your application.
